"This drawing is inspired by a small old cemetery in Simrishamn, Sweden. I have been studying at The Swedish Academy of Realist Art and the cemetery is right by the school. Although I've had a really good time studying art in a cozy small town, it also was a tough period in my life: horrible political events that made me leave my home country, loneliness in immigration, painful romance... This drawing appeared as a reflection of the sadness I felt combined with admiration by autumn beauty and the bittersweet feeling created by autumn walks through the cemetery."
