"This piece has something to do with my father and the unresolved feelings left behind by his passing. Growing up in a trailer house was always something that bothered me, it made me feel inadequate, a thought that still catches me by surprise sometimes. Dealing with his death and with my thoughts around the way I grew up has been complex. One thing I know to be true is that a trailer house was my father doing his best, it was us always having a home. He was my home and with him being gone, the trailer has been pulled away and there is an emptiness without it."
