"This piece shows a young girl wearing a bear head. In some ways she is trying to hide her identity, trying to find a barrier from the world. She is lying horizontal on green bathroom tile, overindulging in vices that allow her to cope with the overwhelming reality. Her loss of innocence, and inability to turn back the clock in some ways present in the almost aloof look to the viewer."
