Chanterelle are naturally rich in antioxidants, polysaccharides, and essential nutrients such as vitamin D and B vitamins, compounds that have been studied for their roles in supporting immune function, reducing inflammation, and protecting against oxidative stress. Extracts have shown ability to inhibit certain bacteria and have historically been used in Eastern Europe to expel parasites.
