This cyanotype self-portrait was created as an act of reclamation and a return to my body with care and intention. Posed in the bath, I exist in my softness, visible but not exposed, held in a moment of quiet vulnerability.
The work draws directly from the symbolism of The Star, a personal favorite, a card of renewal, healing, and gentle self-trust. I am both artist and muse. Like the figure in the card, I place my body in water as an offering to myself.
