"Release" is my representation of the Death card." This image shows Death as a welcoming skeletal figure symbolizing the cycle of life and the process of returning to the earth. Specific flowers were chosen for their symbolism connected to death, dying, and grief, including the poppy, marigold, spider lily, and angel's trumpet. Mushrooms represent (and literally perform) the decomposition process.
