My five of pentacles was created for the Color Tarot Deck and I chose to work on this card as it is one of my favorites. Classically the mythology has someone huddled with a small handful of coins in front of a church. With the symbology being that the world has more to give if you look around and don't concentrate on how little you have. My interpretation is that the world can offer so much more, with a plethora of fruits behind the character, not just the man made coins in front, of the wolf headed being. The major arcana may be more popular for their strong mythos and striking visuals but the minor arcana are just as important and the combination of incorporating specific numbers of symbols in an artistic and important configuration makes for an interesting challenge.
