"She is a rare subspecies of Lions Mane Mushroom found to grown on hard wood in South Africa. Named after “The death of Ophelia.” She was discovered in the forests of South Africa (Knysna-Anatole region) on January 4th, 2021 by Peter Herrmann, the man behind “Harmonic Mycology” - and is currently being studied to uncover her medical potential. I’ve been in contact with Peter and Harmonic Mycology and they’ve generously shared their scientific findings thus far, as well as their wealth of Photographs of this gorgeous species. This species is so new to our understanding that we have not yet fully unlocked her potential, but Peter and His colleagues mentioned one of the scholars they are working with is studying her anti cancer potential, stating they have seen exciting results."
