This is my portrayal of Scorpio and Pisces meeting for the first time, forming an already profound, telepathic bond. They smile uncontrollably and smoke cigarettes, paying homage to the “ride or die” status of commitment. Scorpio’s tail is represented by a gun, symbolizing his intensity as well as his protective and focused nature for his home and family. The roads double up and meander, bridging the connection between reality and fantasy. In this scene, Pisces and Scorpio finally reach each other, as water begins to slowly fill the desert, a stark contrast from the warm and dry desert behind them. The light of the Moon, Mars, and Neptune awakens the kids and the Lunatics, who come out to stare.
Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the planet of dreams, illusions, and spirituality, while Mars rules Scorpio, sparking action and desire. This allows Scorpio to utilize his unique ability to manifest the subconscious, and this gives Pisces the freedom to be the creative dreamer who understands situations beneath the surface with her physic-level intuition, while thriving in a secure environment. Two fish in the far bottom right corner symbolize the end of the cycle, swimming in opposite directions below Pisces, looking on with an empathetic gaze.
