"These miniature works explore the fragile architecture of human relationships and the grief that comes in the uprooting of them. Each structure becomes a metaphor for connection: carefully constructed and yet vulnerable to forces beyond our control. We can try to protect, repair, or simply hold them together by a thread, but they change, they fracture or simply quietly dissolve. Through these works, I explore the tension between our desire to preserve what we have built and its inevitable impermanence."
