"I consider grief one of my oldest friends. I’ve carried the weight of grief through loss, sadness, uncertainty, and times of celebration. I deeply believe that we are meant to embrace grief while allowing ourselves to accept joy. I use images and symbols representing grief while surrounded with bright colors. I create art that welcomes grief while celebrating life."
