"All of my mixed media collages are informed by memory and rooted in nostalgia, and connect me to my mother Rosie and grandmother Wilma. I use personal memorabilia/ephemera and repurposed art work in these pieces. Trees, 'Infinity' quilting patterns, tidal flows and Barns are favorite subjects to express disintegration and dilapidation, disappearance and a hope of regeneration. As I think about the fact that most of my life is behind me, this work provides joy and solace."
