"Creating this was highly cathartic, having lived here for 7 years one of the most difficult things is to lose people at distance. As someone who is part Māori death comes with a lot of protocol, and not being able to partake in that is difficult - so I have to make my own from here. One of these is to remember and grow from what the departed has taught you, mostly about love."
