"My 12-year old cat's death drastically changed this piece and how I view it. Made out of 70-80 year old crochet thread in the method of filet crochet, “forever has ended” was an invitation for us to think on how we talk to the people we love. Does the love we promised forever end when we die? In one day this piece quickly changed from an invitation to others perspectives to challenging my own experience. My own forever had now ended, died in the physical sense, did I feel as if it had ended inside of me? Never."
