"When my father passed away, I entered the darkest period of my life. I felt paralyzed and uncertain about everything. I spent my nights wide awake, overwhelmed by anxiety, with an intense urge to change my life, but I was too afraid to do so.
I had stopped making art years earlier due to chronic illness, but after my father’s death, I began drawing again. Through that process, I found an opening. One that allowed me to step into an entirely new life.
I finally chose to fully embrace my calling as both a medium and an artist, and I never looked back.
My father’s spirit nudged me forward in countless ways throughout this transformation. This drawing embodies how his transition forever changed the course of my life."
