I have been a potter and an art educator for over 45 years. My current work, which I call Potters Circles, is an outgrowth of a teaching experience I had with a class of special needs students. Several of the children had limited fine motor control but were able to create circular designs and experiment with color using liquid media on a potters wheel. My students found success and I saw unique surface qualities and linear designs in
the circular shapes they created.
