My deep love of nature is especially apparent in my art and my illustration background often comes into play as I like to create work that communicates, but is also fun and quirky. Classically trained in illustration (MIAD ‘93) I’ve been hired by both national and international companies as an illustrator along with writing and illustrating two of my own award winning storybooks. The Totum Fauna I create are nature based, mixed media pieces sculpted from stone clay & stone with nature elements added. They are finished with acrylic and encaustic & represent animals or elemental creatures.
