One day I found myself in my studio trying to organize old sketches \u0026amp; unfinished watercolors, and I was overcome by the urge to start destroying them. I started ripping and shredding, my frustrations finding a release in the catharsis of physical destruction. I've never worked with collage, but I felt a compulsion to start gluing the shreds of my old work to a board. Before I fully grasped what had happened, I had a beautiful explosion of layered \u0026amp; textured color.
