Named after “The death of Ophelia.” She was discovered in the forests of South Africa \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e(Knysna-Anatole region) on January 4th, 2021 by Peter Herrmann, the man behind “Harmonic Mycology” - and is currently being studied to uncover her medical potential. I’ve been in contact with Peter and Harmonic Mycology and they’ve generously shared their scientific findings thus far, as well as their wealth of Photographs of this gorgeous species.
