Fragility as strength, scale as community, guardianship
as care, and the tension between protection
and permeability.
A wall of porcelain guardians, less arranged
than enlisted, mustering against a fragile present
and whatever future waits beyond. Each figure is small,
but together they accumulate like a tide.
Faces, symbols, hybrid forms echo into one another until
the wall becomes a field of alertness, a steady pulse. Edge
to edge, they form a wall of protection that reveals its
own permeability.
They remind us that care is not heroic,
but an ongoing, distributed labor, carried by many small,
unremarkable acts.
They arrive as emissaries from the future,
not with warnings, but with reminders: Be softer,
be stranger, be kinder, tread carefully, shelter hope.
Each piece is unique, crafted by hand from porcelain
